If the velvet is drilled inward, the feathers and velvet will stick to the sweater, and even penetrate into the underwear, making people feel itchy and unhappy; if it is drilled outward, it will affect the appearance of the whole garment. There are three main reasons for down jacket drilling down:
1. Fabrics
It is generally believed that the poor anti-drilling property is due to insufficient fabric density. When the compactness index is small, the fabric structure is loose and the down is easier to drill out; Increase, the possibility of drill down also increases.
2. Down quality
In the case of the same velvet content, the velvet content is large and the velvet content is low, because the diameter of the velvet is small, the probability of drilling out from the fabric surface is high, so the possibility of velvet occurrence will increase.
3. Sewing quality
If the sewing needle is thicker, the needle hole will be too large if the stitching is too thin, which will provide a channel for the down to escape, and ultimately affect the anti-drilling performance of the down jacket. In addition, if the needle distance is too large, it is easy to cause the local down content in the liner to be large, causing the down to drill out.
Nylon taffeta is the main down fabric currently on the market. Generally, the yarn count density is above 230T (the unit of fabric density), and 250T is the best. When purchasing, you can pat it with your hands. If there is fluff flying out, the fabric density must be below 230T.
